10th Derby Girls’ Brigade Company

The Girls’ Brigade is a Christian, uniformed organisation – international and interdenominational. 

It’s aim is 
“To help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and through self control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life”

10th Derby Company meets on Wednesday evenings in term time

We meet in various age groups at these time:

N:vestigate 4-8s   5.30 – 7.00pm

N:gage  7-11s  6.00 – 8.00pm

N:counta  10-14s  6.30 – 8.30pm

N:spire  13-18s  6.30 – 8.30pm

EACH GROUP HAS ITS OWN OBJECTIVE

N:vestigate (4-8s)  Join the Journey

The N:vestigate programme focuses on helping children to ‘join the journey’ that is following Jesus.  Every time the children meet they’ll be joining in with an investigation which will help them to explore and develop their understanding of themselves, the world around them and the Christian Faith.

N:gage (7-11s)  Discover the adventure

The N:gage programme focuses on helping children to ‘discover the adventure’ that is following Jesus.  every time the children meet they’ll be joining with an adventure helping them to explore and develop an understanding of characteristics and values which will be good foundations for their lives.

N:counta (10-14s)  Meeting Real Life Head On

N:counta help seniors develop new talents and skills that enable them to make positive contributions to real life.  The programme give space for seniors to explore some of the real life issues that they encounter day by day.
N:counta topics include:  Communication, Taking Risks, Values and Who am I?

N:spire (13-18s)  Experience the challenge!

N:spire provides lots of activities and challenges for Brigaders to have fun developing and working.
The programme provides great opportunities for 13-18’s to discover who Jesus Christ is and to encounter the challenge of living life with Him at the centre!
